Michelle Ritter
Michelle is the heart and soul of our company. Her passion for plants and desire to make people happy with artful creations led her to launch Seattle Plant Company in 2020. As a female entrepreneur, she is a lifelong advocate for Biophilic Design.
With more than 25 years of horticultural expertise in the Pacific Northwest, Michelle's team creates award-winning interior and exterior plant designs that soothe, inspire and transform every space. Michelle believes in the power of plants to affect positive change in our lives, and her keen eye for bold sculptural arrangements has made the business thrive and established a loyal clientele.

The design process with Michelle was extremely smooth and fun, but still considerate of our budget. She brought unique designs that incorporated our ideas and needs, so it was a collaborative process. Sometimes working with artists can be difficult because they have a set mind on what the end design should look like — but Seattle Plant Company made adjustments on-site whenever needed and without issue. Her team also showed up on time, which was crucial for coordinating work with our tight construction schedule. We needed low-maintenance plants to divide our dining area, and Michelle delivered. Our guests keep talking about our beautiful moss wall, even taking pictures.
